Bonnie Schneider, a weather expert, is featured on CNN as well as HLN's different platforms. She is also co-executive producer and on-camera for an DIY NETWORK TV special called LAST HOUSE RUNNING that premiered March 30, 2012 The first novel of Bonnie is EXTREME WEATHER which came out from Palgrave Macmillan on January 31 of 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. When she was in Boston she also offered reports on lifestyle and entertainment as the special assignment reporter every day of the week. Prior to joining WB56 she was the meteorologist on weekends for WFOR-TV in Miami. She's had a number of reports and meteorology positions, including: News 12 Long Island which is a 24 hour cable news television network, and WXII TV, which is the NBC affiliate in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In New York City, she was a fill-in weatherman for The Saturday Early Show for CBS.
